Thousands join Venezuela opposition leader Machado in march against Maduro: Video
Venezuelan Opposition leader, Maria Corina Machado led protests against the re-election of President Nicolás Maduro on August 28.
The Venezuelan National Election Commission declared Maduro the winner after the July 28 presidential election.
The Supreme Court upheld this decision on August 22, endorsing Maduro’s win but protests against the results continue.
The latest protests were held in Caracas, with thousands hitting the streets to participate.
Machado vowed to continue the fight against Maduro’s claim to victory.
“And now they say the regime won't yield. You know what? We’re going to make it yield," she was quoted.
